initially, hearing this for the first time, i was at a loss for words. i enjoyed the sound, sure, but i didn't really get it. not until today, just two minutes ago folding my laundry and listening to "a hex on fallen angels". while previous works of yours have been beautiful to me in their painful familiarity (particularly "hope left me" and "entity"), "the unending need for perpetual motion" is beautiful to me because of that lack of familiarity, a testament to its ability to convey aspects of the human condition previously unseen to me, that ability which is contained, for better or worse, only in the art we make. so please, keep making things, no matter what they are, no matter who understands.

Been listening to this album since the day it premiered. Frigid is a fantastic song and my second favorite of the album, but the first track, even after many listens brings a tear to my eye man. The sound in general of this album is so good, like it's from an old, beautiful movie you can't quite place.
