I’m grateful for the win, but this team has gotta get some things figured out. The run support is awful this year. Starting pitching hasn’t been terrible, but when the team can’t score, it doesn’t matter how well the pitcher does. 0-7 WISP through 8 innings is not gonna win you a lot of games. The bats have got to wake up and be consistent.

You could make an argument that the rule should be: If the ball is over the plate or between it and the batters box it's not a hit by pitch. Way too many guys leaning out over the plate not worried about getting hit because they are padded up like a hockey goalie.

I know that I'm a RABID Rangers fan, but the games are almost ruined by Dave Raymond. He spent 3 hours talking about one Astro after another, telling us how great they are. I want to hear about US, not them! I have considered turning the volume off. If you doubt my observation, then pay attention to his lovefest for any of our opponents. Jared Sandler did a great job in St. Louis. Dave Valle does an outstanding job as well. You can hear his passion for RANGERS players and OUR team! Maybe it's just me.
