This is his 4th time I think, maybe 3rd. It is tough during the season because most shows are after the game, and hes on east coast time. plus he has to get up so early for MLB central. He will be back on for sure, he always has a great time on the show

There were rumors that the Astros tried to extend Tucker the last couple years, but I never heard any numbers. A lot of us forget that these players are not from Houston or even Texas. We are Astros fans. Most of the players are not. They may have dreams of playing for a certain team. I don't blame Tucker or Bregman for going FA. They gave us a lot of years. Now we need to find their replacement. If you've been an Astros fan for a while, you know that players come and go all the time. I'm a fan of the team, and not as much for specific players. Tuckers gone and I'll find a new favorite. Maybe it'll be Paredes. I still have pictures of Carlos Lee, Springer bobblehead, and a Jason Lane jersey. I have a Berkman jersey. Just because the Astros aren't winning 100 games a season doesn't mean they can't go to the WS. Look at the 2005 team. They weren't very good.

Also Bregman has made and was offered around 25-30 mil a season that is plenty for a elite defender and a little above average hitter at best.

2024 was a hard, stressful season for the Astros with injuries and a slow start. I wouldn't be surprised if 2025 turns out better even with the new look.

@MaddoxJenkins-x8f well I spoke with him one on one when he had his first off-season. He said “I would love to come on email ______ (name redacted ) tell him I c s do it during all star week. They handle my schedule.” I emailed, was told it would have to wait to schedule it, then was told to reach out before all star break. Then I was stonewalled…but I never give up and it WILL happen one day! Bookmark it! Htown Wheelhouse

Also its crazy Crane says hes gonna stay competitive but weary of going over cap.If you don't resign your stars early ofc their gonna want big contracts.How you gonna compete with the Dodgers without going over the cap and a bad farm system?lolThe Dodgers go over the cap every year so no one beating them unless half their team injured in oct.

Flores kept it real. Yes the Astros took off for 2 months while Tucker was out. After those two months they went to being an average team. This OF is probably the worst OF in all of baseball. They still need a vet pitcher to eat innings.

Over the last 2 years we have needed 2 things to be World Series contenders, a 1st baseman and an elite outfielder. We now have our 1st baseman, so lets get an outfielder and we will be right in the mix.

The Rangers are an emotion team and that can wear them down in 162 games. In 2023 they got hot in the first have and then fell off a cliff until the playoffs. I think they'll crash after the AS break again.

At this point the Astros should just trade their farm system.The only guy they kept was Altuve so seeya Diaz,Hunter Brown,Pena.Dana Brown has progressively made this team worse and without signing Santander their not only ws contenders I could easily see them missing the playoffs.They barely made the playoffs in the worst division last year and are a worse team this yr.Crane has been riding good GMs success and Astros better yrs are gone.
