When I first started AX a couple months before Titan Taranis, I was using a Shardconda and learning the ins and outs of AX combat. When I discovered its limitations, I natural transitioned to Alliance/Lakon and the Krait Mk2 as my main ships.

I use a Shard Python II with all shards.. it shreds! (use weapon dist) The Anaconda with 6 guardian plasmas is a great dual use ship for areas like dead titans where you may been to kill both pirates and thargoids.

6 mod shards? Try it with 2 mod shards and 4 regular large shard.

Fastest money in the game is with the shard Conda at a surface port. Stack missions, wing up, share the profits with the wing. Yeah you can use a Krait as well, but the Conda just lasts longer and hits harder. No shields, just hull tank. Use heat to burn off caustic and pop heatsinks after. More heat sinks the better. Scanner is optional too once you get used to seeing what to shoot instead of relying on targeting the heart, replace with more heatsinks. Plenty of Module Reinforcement of course to mitigate the heat damage otherwise the guns stop working. This is a shotgun build, no finesse, no staying at a distance, just raw damage. Hydras are easy, can usually can take two hearts before needing repair and rearm. 4 modshards, two AX multis for the scouts and hunters, two small thermal vent beams.

I'm pretty new to AX, joined in Jameson defense with a basic krait. After that I built myself a shard conda... i've managed to grab hero of the battle twice since then. It's not much compared to a lot of you guys, but i'm really proud of it and it only proves that the conda is really a powerhouse.

Before station AX combat zones, it was difficult with the Conda, but with repair avaible, for me it is the most effective ship. Good tanking, never lost it, and the lowest hull I usually have is 40%. The mod shard version has the most dps versus interceptors from anything else, and the most effective against them general. This is mostly because the overwhelming majority of interceptors are Cyclops, and instagibbing them is a huge time saver. Basilisks are rare, and Medusas are super rare, usually 0 per session. At least the Hydra is granted at the end of session. Exposing the hearth is easy, shooting diwn it is a bit tricky, to move to a good position, but once it is achived, it can easily fall. In this case it is controlled burst used. For Hydra it has the firepower to take down a hearth in one go. Particarly good occasion when it lightining attacks. And it can face tank it. It can solo a Hydra. Just take a repair between hearths. It can also shoot down scouts, but annoying, and the best is just to ignore them. But the glaives are unfortunately hard counters. You have to relie on others (other connanders or NPC, but NPC take them down very slowly) or relog. I use shieded build, with prismatic, so no problem with distro. If it fails, i usually turn off the generators, and turn back on when I repair. Rest of internal is hull and a full module RP.

Shardcondas in planetary invasion settlements (landable) will make you 200-300 million an hour if you're solo.

I currently own a Shardconda. It is great at destroying Cyclops interceptors. I have put weapon-focused super conduits on my distro to make it work. Absolute slug of a thing to fly with a high rebuy cost. So it is not my preferred ship for AX combat, but it is fun to use nonetheless. Odd question do you see many cmdrs in AX fly in small-sized ships? I like your bug smashers ship guide videos they are great!

Try 5 pre engineered axmc with 1 med beam laser thermal vent. 4 large axmc, 1 med. On pm2. Zippin around 550ms picking off scouts. Or 3 x large axmc, 2 modshard in the med slots and beam laser on the bottom large. Im running the last one. Helps for instakilling cyclops and goot heart dmg except on hydra, i prefer axmc for hydra hearts.

Well they have never been particularly good at AX :). Some people still love them tho! They are extremely slow so exceptionally impractical as Titan fighter (not to mention bombers.) And in AXCZs you have so many better options both among mediums and even large ships.

A T10 could be helpful as a wing support at least where it can focus on eliminating scouts and hunters. Those things are really annoying when the main force is focusing on the interceptors.

i like my type 10 for ground ports or spire sites.. pre engineered ax Mc pretty solid build and runs around 18% heat ... shes slow but an absolute lot of fun
