Respectfully, I feel like Chris was very nit-picky at times lol. I think that because the bar is so high for Stingettes now, some may feel that the season didn’t give everything it should have. But if you look at how much Brianni and the team gave this year and compare it to past seasons, this was an extremely solid year for them. I have yet to see a captain bring so many new counts while bringing back so many old ones. I mean she really utilized their ENTIRE count book. Field was fire. They didn’t over do it with the stand routines. They brought back Lucky 7. They even gave us new choreo for the March-ins/outs. They also put out another dance video choreographed by Janae. They did a lot, and of course there were moments where they could’ve been cleaner (especially w/ uniforms), but all in all, it really was a season filled with really spectacular moments every game.

I loved how Princess performed when she was moved in the middle next to Jada. It was like her nerves melted entirely. I think seeing her captain without difficulty really enhanced her confidence! Great job Princess!

During the opening game they danced as ONE. It was truly goosebump worthy. It’s like each screen shot they were in the same positions. You can tell how much work they put in for that first game.

I feel like Kenzie dances like she’s happy asf to be behind Brianni again. She gets the hype because she’s just as intense as Brianni. Yes of course like every crab, she has a few things she could touch on but every single crab including Kenzie ate down. And Princess was solid the entire season I enjoyed watching her. She was so clean, precise, and definitely served face. Brianni did what needed to be done and I pray she is a 2 year

At the end of the day, all of y’all’s most famous stingette captains and history makers, approved of Brianni and the team’s season. That’s all the approval she needs 😂 if the goats said they did a hell of a job then she must have done something right. This is definitely an “evolution” in my book by your given definition: gradually changing. All of the new counts, the whole plethora, has tidbits of original stingettes movements. Bri made sure new was grounded in the origin. And not to mention all the homage paid with uniforms and revived counts. Bri was a well-read captain. Don’t let the baby hairs fool you to thinking it’s all new business haha

My issue with the new counts, is with the level of technicality, Bri would have to be a 2-year to help solidify the counts into the books. I can see the counts getting altered tremendously because not everyone has it completely.

Yes, it does have to contain "so many elements"! The Stingettes needed that up in the count difficulty. The other big teams (JSettes, GGS, Dolls) have more difficult counts with more elements. Brianni upped the difficulty and technicality of the Stingette counts and kept the style intact, that's what the team needed. She did an amazing job keeping the Stingettes competing in this modern era.

As far as crabs go I definitely believe that some of the crabs were overlooked. Mk and Aarin grew a lot this season and weren’t being mentioned because they were hidden in the shadows.

1) They had a good season, as Chris said not an A+ but it was still good. I think the real sting fans enjoyed this season. 2) I see a lot of people saying things about Brianni’s focus, when we don’t know one bit that goes on behind the scenes. 3) I understand Bri is captain, but I actually appreciate that she gave the girls a chance to create counts and actually use it, than just listen to the viewers and say no it’s not “sting”. Would never know what looks good if you don’t try it, because a count in practice may not look the same on game day. 4) Lastly, y’all consistently mention how the viewers hype certain girls….whose fault is that? Everyone screams and support the girls they like, whether they’re good or not. Kenzie is that girl, and people live for her and that’s totally normal. Why? Because they’ve seen what’s she’s capable of and they like how she dancers. She has some things to fix and that’s totally normal. I get that y’all want her to simmer down,(I agree) but the obsession with her to not be overhyped is out of her control, that’s a viewer/fan problem.

The Stingettes did a very good job this season. They STUNG, as was the assignment. No team has ever gone mistake-less. There will always be a few problems here and there. It is a team of people attempting to look as one. You can’t point to not one squad in the past that was perfect on all fronts. So expecting this team to do it is fruitless. It just sounds very judgmental and bitter. And I hope that was not the intent because they are still people with feelings. They looked like they wanted to be there and enjoyed their season. That matters more than anything else. If one can’t see that they missed the entire season. 1. Once a count is in the hands of the present captain- it is hers. How it was done before doesn’t matter. If she wants to roll instead of WOP WOP, it is hers to do that. It isn’t “wrong” it is just different. 2. People clearly go up for their favorites and that is fine. But you don’t have to tear down one to highlight another. That is simply immature and mean. Two people can be great, on the same team at the same time. 3. When girls come in with a solid fan base, some people go negative on her immediately. If she dances too big it is a problem. If she dances too small it is a problem. Yes, they should learn to dance with the team and go OFF when those individuals come along. But she should be given time to do that. 4. Just because a person can lead in the stands does not mean they can lead behind the scenes. A captain is way more than what we see. Remember captains have to be developed too. I just want to thank the Stings for not being boring and always giving their ALL. I am so appreciative of their efforts and this season. I am excited for next year.

Mckenzie will settle into her Stingette her second year like almost everybody else. She's always been a front row girl. People enjoy watching her because they know where she came from and know what's to come. People who have followed her are excited about her being a sting and want to support. Just because a girl looks a certain way (The Pretty Girl Assumption) doesn't mean they don't receive constructive criticism well or think they the sh!t and can't be told nothing. She wants to fit the mold of the stingettes like the greats who came before her, so in due time she will perfect her sting. I didn't like the way Brianni did certain counts her first season and neither did she, that's how she found HER sting, through performing, persistence and practice..... but I still went up for her because she had something and Kenzie does too. To those with something to say, based off her energy and showmanship SHE WILL be one of the GWORLS.... but don't hate because other people see what she gives and you don't. lol

To me, it's no use saying who should've been captain, hindsight is 20/20. People judge from what the camera shows you and personal feelings. Young girls around college age go through growing pains, and hardships these days. Staying positive and humble is what keeps dance culture alive and mental health good. I loved bri as a captain. If she gets it again people either have to A. Support her and the team, be mature. B. Complain and cry? Aarin my eye is on you! Happy holidays! Everyone stay safe and healthy.

I respectfully disagree. One- she’s a freshman. She is still learning the form so if she doesn’t hit every move accurately, it’s understandable. She does not remix counts. Why do i say that? The counts where she does have a slight difference than the team are done repeatedly. Which means it’s muscle memory and probably something she doesn’t realize is different than the team. That negates the argument of deliberately trying to outdance the team. She dances with intensity which to me seems like what her crab class was taught. If you watch the one by ones (where two ladies dance together ) she looks like the dancer before her and the dance after. But then again, even Bri is being criticized for being too intense and attesting it to the P-rette style. IMO It seems to me these grievances are related to her popularity.

I can understand why some people keep saying if a certain person was to lead things would have been different but just because you saw the person lead one game well or not lead a game well doesn’t mean she would be a good captain all season. If anything Kevia is a very good example of that. People were very nasty with the comments when they saw her lead her first game and now look at her. Same with how the keep comparing Camryn and Arielle. I love Camryn and I enjoyed her DD days but we also have to understand that if Arielle made the cut on the team and she is a Captain it’s for a reason. In any case you don’t have to be a Captain to shine. Typical example is when Brianni was tail and even when she was tailing lovejoy. Briannni did quite well I wish they had a Designated camera person for every game and better Uniforms that’s all. And I love her intricate counts. People say they want change but only want it when it fits the image they have in their head.

I agree with Chris, Eras are seeming to be 4 years with a gap year in between. Victoria era (2009-2012), 13 (Gap year), Asia era (2014-2017), 18 (Gap year), Janae era (2019-2023???). I love the evolution of the style, however i believe that the stingettes needs to make counts similar to 11&12 year. Simple and effective. Asia brought in a change in the stingette style beyond dance, but i wish they would go back to giving the vets some leadership like 11 or 13.

@@iangallagher5448 no because this year we couldn’t tell who was a vet and who was a crab, (from my perception) the crabs seem to view the vets as more sisters and less of role models. Being a vet used to come with a lot of privileges, that they have started giving to the crabs. And 13 was one of the best years …….. regardless of petty things like that. The vets put fear into their heart which made them better. If they were scared of the vets they would start dancing better !

I actually agree with Morgan and Chris. The Stingettes had a good season but they weren't on point when it came to moving as a unit. The it factor wasn't there for me this season and I'm no Count or technique specialist but something was missing and alot was off. Bri did great as a Captain and is a great performer, she has the it factor but needs more time to bring her team together. I think a 2nd season under Bri will breed the unity and pizazz the Stingettes are known for bringing Consistently.

Some crabs were given too much to soon and hyped so much that they prolly didn’t feel they needed to do anything different. This season was definitely where popularity and pretty girl passes made the decisions for placement. No crabs should’ve been on front row. MK and Aarin def needed to moved out the band corner. Sis that just couldn’t pay attention very pretty but….Nyah and Jaelyn ate in the middle. Why was she moved. Stuff just seemed “sus” to me. Bri has the best showmanship out there! She is mesmerizing when she dances but just not sure how much she focuses on others. It will get better her second year if given one. All the crabs should make it back not just the ones we were conditioned to see and know

The season was really good in my opinion and I do agree with Chris when it comes to uniforms and dancing as a unit. For example, Kenzie stands out when they are doing certain counts which can be a good or bad thing but she overdoes the movements when it just needs to be a graceful and smooth count. As far as placements I feel Zy needs to be in the front because she wasn't making a lot of mess-ups as she was when she was in the back. Amari needs to be in front and Divine moved to the back. Kenzie can be moved to the back so she can see how the group is throwing the counts so she doesn't do them with too much power. The people saying move Arin, MK, and Essence should be moved have to remember how tall they are compared to the other girls. When it comes to the captain I want to see Bri come back for the 2nd year she just has to put a little more fear into the girls and rough them up a little. I wouldn't put Nyah there because Nyah has a good overseer spot and she plays that leadership role because Bri can't really do that while dancing. I could see Lovejoy but like you said Morgan she has to clean some things up and I could see it. Bull ill give it an 8.5/10 for the season

also, Chris is being a little nitpicky but I understand what he is saying it's really just his delivery. Because even though he doesn't care how people take it he has to understand these are still young women in college. My favorite crab has to be Princess she is so controlled to me and she has this sort of attitude to her movements. I would say Zy cause she has a look to her and it works every time but she be messing up a lot she doesn't really pay attention. Leah kinda does the same thing that Kenzie does but since she serves face and is in the ace spot people don't really talk about it as much. Leah is a bomb ace and I really want to see her as the tail. but shawty is soooooo small

Now I said they were not as clean as they have been in the past and the girls jumped on my neck. They are still great dancers over all but they just didn’t look cohesive. Like he said it’s like everybody was individuals

I feel like at the end of the day, All the girls came to do what they love which is dance. I understand tradition, and presentation, however I also feel like we should enjoy the girls enjoying what they love to do, which is being happy to be there especially considering the journey they have to go through to get there. Covid also plays a roll as well. I think Bri had a good captain year, I would like her to get a second year just so we can really see what she has to give. And that’s my take on the season 💛😌

I’m excited already to see how the captain situation turns out with the stings. Either way, it will be great but when we are claiming captain for these girls, it needs to be more than about how they dance and look while doing it. Are they organized, good communicators, creative, problem solvers and most importantly selfless. Everyone wasn’t meant to lead and that is absolutely ok.

I throughly enjoyed this season but it was a few mistakes here and there that I didn’t like. I wish we would get new fast counts instead of new slow/medium ones cause to me it seems like for all the fast songs the same counts were always thrown and when they would play a slow song it seemed like we always got a new count or something idk. With the crabs they need to pay attention more and learn how to dance with the team and not necessarily try to stand out. And with the placements I wish they moved some of the girls around more I didn’t like how aarin and essence were always put in the back. Hopefully and prayerfully next year Brianni is captain again with less girls so we can get a stronger team and really see her vision

Bri is such a talented and creative dancer, but I would like to see someone else up front next season. This season started off strong, but it just fizzled out as time went on, so I would like to see what someone else could bring as captain. The only one that feels like they could bring it for me from 20 is Lea, if not her then Nyah (but you know the 3 year rule so🤷🏾‍♀).
