Literally paused this to watch Shiva Baby, A+, hilarious, also I didn't enjoy Carol as much as I would've had I not read The Price of Salt. The Handmaiden was wild and i loved it, but i found it dragged on a little. If But I'm a Cheerleader wasn't at least in the second top tier I'd have questions tbh.

Hey I wanna recommend another lesbian movie called Intimates (the original Chinese name is "Zishu"). It's a movie made in Hongkong, China, in 1990s I guess...? Anyway, it is really gooooood because the love between two main characters is so tender, soft, and moving.( the story is so touching that i could not stop thinking about it for a long time right after i watched it) Not saying it's good just because I'm Chinese and that's a Chinese movie tho. Actually I think the movie should've been seen by the world, but it did not have a chance to be seen.

Disobedience was just boring. For me it’s on thin ice. Mainly for how extremely boring it is. The first ever lesbian movie I have seen was debs. I was 12 and living in a homophobic religious cult. I still thought the only option was men or going in a convent. It’s my favourite movie, even tho it’s probably not that great. When I watched Waterlillies when I was like 14 over a decade ago I thought it was a hate crime and my opinion has not changed 😂 Professor marsden and the Wonder Woman I have complicated feelings about. At the time I first watched it I was „brain off, im watching polyamory and this is amazing!“ but since then I have had a lot of thoughts about it and most of them are not good. mainly Mandy did a KZbin video on it that had most of my current thoughts on the movie in it and then some. Birds of prey is definelty up there for my favourite movies. It’s the last movie I have seen before going to a theatre meant risking one’s life. And it will probably remain the last movie I have seen at the theatre because other people would rather ignore people dying and becoming disabled than wear a mask and stay home when sick. At least I can say that the last movie I saw was a very good movie.
