there is a thermal pad below my ssd, is that for cooling down the ssd or the component that can be seen in motherboard below ssd? In your video i see no thermal pad, my laptop model same as this. I have added some after market heatsink, if that thermal pad is for ssd then i don't want to use it anymore.

Awesome video. I have the same laptop and have been having black screen issues since i gave it for servicing about 6 months ago. Followed the steps and realised they hadn't set the lcd cable properly and it was getting stuck under the heatsink pipe. Loosened it and refit the lcd cable and voila no issues as of now. Awesome video, i have now black screen issues, i leave the laptop running a game and when i came back after 1h ... Black screen. Laptop is working because leds and fans are working and i have it now plugged to a tv to try uninstall and reinstall drivers... But nothing works... I just bought a edp lcd cable to see if its working after replacing it but.. will see. Maybe something wrong with motherboard because 1 day after this issue happens lcd works for 20 seconds... I dont know.. maybe someone here have any solution... And again thanks for this video

My model G513IC which is similar to this, i want to know reason for delayed power led display and automatic start of laptop, its like if i shutdown laptop, then i will not be able to start it as there is no power led indication or response to power button at all, and then after hour or so laptop will automatically start , why this is happening ?

my battery was stuck and didn't want to dissasemble from the battery connector and broke when I was pulling it off... Idk how it happened, but even after it broke I had a hard time pulling it off. I guess new motherboard now...

Hey man, it’s been 10 months already, but recently I’ve been facing a strange issue with my G15. It boots up to a black screen on initial boot like after leaving mine for least 6hr-10hrs? , and I don’t know why. When I do a force shutdown, it goes back to normal, and I can use my G15 smoothly afterward. Do you think you can help me with this? Since everything works fine after the black screen, it doesn’t seem like a motherboard issue to me

@@ItsBinhRepaired that's the thing man, I can't. It won't. Problem started when it randomly restarted and done BSOD, over and over again, thinking it was a faulty SSD, I bought a new one. Made a USB media tool through Rufus, but it won't even boot up my USB, it just goes initialising, then to BSOD again. Won't even go to safe mode, tried going through the recovery menu to safe mode, but it just goes BSOD. I think I have no choice. Straight to the shop I guess

I have the same model. The monitor goes very dim when moved to certain angles. I'm thinking the ribbon cable is either damaged or coming unseated. This video showed where the cable plugs into the MB but not disassembly of the monitor to access it there. Any tips?

I have the same laptop but it crash with no reason... while gaming or normal tasks, i searched the whole internet and no solution... It's not temp cause i have changed the thermal paste etc...and the temps are also low.., not battery or adaptor ... i don't know what to do... no error msg or anything else... simply the whole power goes out the after a hard reset it might come on... Also checked ram and ssd.. if you have or know any solutions please do help

mine is asus rog strix g512 10th gen with the rtx 2070 8gb gpu everything is fine but sometimes when i move the lid slowly at some angles the screen starts to flicker and some times it goes black. but then when i open it again it works. what is the issue here...cuz its not an everyday problem but am worried it would get worse in the long run
