If you can go for the 7800 XT, it would be a better GPU than the 6700 XT. The 7800 XT has 16GB of VRAM, so it can be used for 4K gaming as well.

do you need an aRGB cable for this graphics card? i just bought this and i only have the built in aRGB from my case and not my motherboard

No ,you need to install Asus Armoury Crate software and then you can select different lighting effects.
