Thanks for the video- it only took me about 4ish hours to watch it- taking notes and looking up all this new technology so I know what you're refering to takes a while for me, heh. yay- got 5 pages, front and back of them. hopefully all goes well for the new build- cross your fingers for me if you don't mind :P When you don't do this stuff all the time it can be a bit overwhelming! I'm gettin it done though! I have not put together a 'new' build since 2007- I just continuously upgraded my old and it has been 3-5 completely different rigs. I used to love Corsair but I didn't realize it's stupid proprietary system, even though I bought about $500 worth of their stuff- yay naivity! (back when it was new)- I am not a person prone to 'sunken cost fallacy', so I'm not investing any more into proprietary junk to make everything match, I'm just going to move these fans to a different system and totally replace all these wires, controllers, fans and all that to one of my other backup systems (It'll be a pretty backup system!) and replace it all with something cheaper that likely even does a better job cooling. Kids- Don't do Corsair, it's a money pit of middling quality products.

May I know why you put your NVME drive at slot no. 3?

Sometimes in the motherboard manuals it tells you which slot to put something and some slots may be higher gen than others (like gen4 or gen 5)

I'd like to see a video where someone takes this MB or the gaming wifi 1 and dial in a 13900k for max performance/efficiency. I've noticed the Asus bios for the 790-a Gaming wifi (1) has had massive jumps in CPU performance. Using the Intel XTU program to benchmark I've scored everywhere from 14,002 to 12,998. I'd like to have a stable set up that stays around 13,700-13,900. Or on Time spy it scored anywhere from 22,000 to 24,000. I've tried all the different settings and for me it seems as XMP. Tweaked seems to work best with the 13900k. XMP 1 and 2 score much lower when I run various benchmarks

Hey! Thanks for the video My PSU is making purring/humming noise, it’s not buzzing or coil noise, it’s more like low frequency noise Is there a way to change something in this BIOS to make it quiter? Maybe the power level or somehow? Sorry I’m a noob lol

Hey I can’t get into my computer because I have to reset my pin because of some security thing. I need internet to change it. I cannot install the drivers without getting into the computer. Is there a way to install the WiFi drivers through bios?

hey guy i know this is a stupid question to ask. i just connected my aio cooler to the 3 pin connector under the cpu that states AIO_PUMP but how do i go about enable the board to see that on my ASUS ROG Strix Z790-A Gaming WiFi II LGA 1700. because i just dont want to plug the pump and God for bid it burns out i really cant afford that right now. i have no idea what tab and in the bios i have to look into and what step or what i have to look for after that. I would really appreciate any kind of info you can offer, thankx.

I actually found the issue , I used my laptop to download the drivers and moved it to a thumb drive. Connected it to the PC and installed it. No issues after

@@superhessu3 the network drivers does not come preinstalled on the motherboard. When I plugged in the Ethernet for the first time I see the green light blinking but it wasnt connecting

For some reason my board (ASUS ROG Strix Z790-E Gaming WiFi II) will only boot if I have my DIMMS in B1 and B2. it will not boot with XMP enabled even though the RAM is supported.

With 4 slots of ram full with ddr5 you'll have to underclock it down some because it's not like ddr 4 you have more bandwidth with ddr5 and CPU can't handle it theres a video where the guy at Asus explained it better off getting 2 sticks with the highest capacity
