I got this router because of your video about a year ago.Its truly a powerhouse, I gave out my wifi password to all my neighbors an my internet still runs flawless,at any given time I could have 20 or more devices connected to my router including 2 xbox1's ps4 xbox 360 an this router runs lag free 98% the time during the course of the day.

I took your advise and purchased this ASUS router. Are there setting i can change that will speed up the wifi I was watching another youtube video where they showed how to setup AT&T gateway in the bridge mode to work with my router. What is your thought about that?

Wi-Fi has basically 2 speeds - full speed and off. There are many factors which affect speed such as distance and interference. There are also router features which can enhance your signal such as QOS, beam forming and MU-MIMO but there's no single "speed" setting. Moving a device from the 2.4GHZ band to the 5GHZ band may increase speed but also decrease your range. If your ISP provides a combination modem/router you want to ask them to turn off it's router function to prevent it from interfering with your router. This is called bridge mode.

Would this be recommended for mobile home? Trying to find something. Currently have franklin 9 hotspot highest speeds have been 9 mbps but mostly under 1 mbps. And the rv wifi sites wanna charge hundreds a month and 1000 for devices

To help clarify. The ACRH13 is 2x2 MU-MIMO while the ACRH17 is 3x3 MU-MIMO. MU-MIMO means it can simultaneously stream parallel data to multiple devices (SU-MIMO will stream to one, then to the next, then to the next, in series). The higher the combo (1x1, 2x2, 3x3, 4x4) the more simultaneous streams can connect between the device and router. The combo means how many transmit and receive antennae there are on a device. Cellphones usually have 1 antennae while typical run of the mill laptops usually have 2 and high-end apple laptops have 3. But note: the # of antenna there are isn't indicative if it's MU-MIMO capable (you'll have to find the device's specs). For instance: 2x2 MU-MIMO routers can connect to TWO 1x1 devices (typically cellphones) or ONE 2x2 device (a standard laptop) while a 3x3 MU-MIMO router can simultaneously stream data to connected to THREE 1x1 devices (three cellphones), or one 2x2 device and one 1x1 device, or ONE 3x3 device (high-end laptops). The connecting device (cellphone, laptop, gaming laptop, etc.) must be compatible with the router MU-MIMO combo in order to see the improvement. A 3x3 MU-MIMO router AND 3x3 MU-MIMO laptop, for instance, will see a 3-times additional speed than a standard SU-MIMO (1x1 single stream) connection. However, very few devices are 3x3 compatible even though your router may be. Most people will only need a 2x2 MU-MIMO router as there are very few devices that are 3x3 capable. A 3x3 router would also be useful if you have a large quantity of devices in your home. For instance, I have a garage door opener, front door smart lock, Nest thermostat, security camera, WiFi printer, laptop, and cellphone). I would see some benefit from a 3x3 router than a 2x2 router because of the ability to support 3 simultaneous streams (reducing congestion), even though none of my devices are 3x3 themselves. I hope this is clear. Wiki MU-MIMO... router technology is SUPER COMPLEX and the general public will have no way to understand it - it's not their fault. Signal processing engineers are super innovative and it often takes an engineer to understand (I am one).
