Frame rate might not be the one that you experience since we are recording directly on the machine and not capture it separately, so you might experience a 3-5 fps improvement.

How's the battery life in igpu mode? Any degradation after long use?

It will be ok for VR. The problem is that the ASUS TUF A15 is already struggling to cool itself with the RTX 3060, so I wouldn't expect much performance improvements over the unit we had for review.

Of course not. We installed 2-3 games, tested them, uninstalled. Kept doing so for a few days.

Pros: runs almost any game you want in high settings and 60fps+ Cons: runs hot, power throttles, has low build quality It's pretty much what you should expect from a cheap gaming laptop.

Sorry, we no longer have the laptop. However, since this laptop is dual channel, upgrading to 32 GB dual - channel will have 0 impact on performance. Also, improved timings only ad 2-4% extra FPS.

It's very strange that it couldn't, Apex is usually all over the place, but battlefront 2 is very well optimized

I think it was some FPS limit in-place in these games, because if you look at GPU utilisation, it's around 40-65%. The laptop can definitely pump much higher FPS. Still, 80 FPS is still pretty good.
