And the TUF series does do some serious CPU stuff over elongated periods of time, I got one about 4 years ago with a ryzen processor and it has stood the test of time with heavy duty backend programming with some front end stuff 5 days a week and CS go ( I am old) on the weekends

Got mine last week and I'm really enjoying it! The package as a whole is brilliant! I will say my favorite is the trackpad, it's the first laptop I've used that doesn't need an external mouse! It wasnt cheap, even though it is classed as a "budget" laptop but it was worth it I don't need more than this! Can work and game on 1 system without any issues.

@@locke_ytb it has different modes, I run it on silent low power mode on battery and I've had it running for 4hours while working on it and the battery was +-40% if memory serves. Never really did it to check the overall battery life just never realized that I hadn't plugged it in 😂. It has a 90whr battery which is quite a bit larger than the other gaming laptops I looked at.

@@sayandas9381 nah I can see perfectly fine no issues with brightness for me. Comparing this to my monitor I noticed my monitor is busy burning my damn retinas it's so bright, this is way less harsh on my eyes. In the end you should buy what ticks most of the boxes you want. I had a list of things I wanted. From silly things like rgb keyboard and g-sync, to more important things like cpu and gpu performance, battery life and numpad to name a few.. What I paid and what I got is most impressive to me, all other rtx4060 laptops are way more expensive. In my country there is a +-$500 price difference between the acer and asus and I wasn't going to pay that difference..

I ordered the version with the I7 (also a 4060) .. now .. I have to wait a few days. And I'm not someone that likes waiting much lol.. ps this video is a few months old. From what I've heard the phantom liberty update made the performance worse across the board for everyone. On PS5 I notice far shorter pop in / drawing distances. I wonder how it holds up now. Not that I'm planning to play cyberpunk on it since I got that on ps5. I probably use it minimally for gaming as I bought it mostly for my writing (kinda over kill.. But I figured I might as well buy a good laptop that will last and that I will be able to use to do some light video editing or gaming like total war games and grand strategy stuff) My current laptop is an Asus that I bought for a similar price that I got my TUF for. I got this thing a decade ago... and it still works! Albeit, the battery no longer charges. And it sounds like a jet engine. It can't handle 1080p 60fps on youtube without some stuttering etc etc. It's on its last legs and I needed and upgrade. Mostly because I kinda got enough of my laptop sounding like a jet engine when idle

I have this laptop, the battery life is absolutely phenomenal. If you keep the GPU settings on ASUS armory crate to optimum, it will basically disable the NVIDIA GPU when not doing anything graphically intensive. I kid you not I get between 10-12 hours on battery with keyboard backlight set to lowest and screen at around mid-brightness when using word, chrome, Spotify, google drive. Its an absolute beast of a laptop.

The 3070 ti absolutely smashes this laptop. FG is important but dlss 3 is the 10x more important. Still a 3070ti laptop if you can get it for +- the same price will destroy this.

@@nickinthelead7904 it will run "better" but its not going to "DESTROY" Rtx 4060. the experience you will have with both of the cards will be the exact same. both of the cards can already run every games at 60-70fps and more. at 1080p. having 5-10fps more will not change the experience in an already very smooth experience. Rtx 4060 also runs cooler than 3070ti. there is nothing 3070ti can run that 4060 can't, giving the same experience but 3070ti cant run everything 4060 can. you wont be able to run Cyberpunk 2077 with Path tracing enable even with DLSS and get the same experience with 4060 thanks to FG. 4060 is more futureproof than 3070ti.

You must always play the game in charging mode so the games can run at their best. But if you're doing some light office or basic work without charging then it'll last you enough for around 6- 7 hours I guess. I have the same laptop but I haven't tried it without charging yet

TUF and military grade... I whacked my 2022 TUF A15 on the keyboard (not very hard mind) and the screen turned of... Dunno if I want to get the MB replaced or just buy a new one. I have had ASUS gear since 2007, and sadly the quality has been declining since then. Looking at other options. The screen is very nice too: 2560 x 1440p, 165 Hz, 3060 gpu and 6800 cpu. Ran my main game "Escape From Tarkov at high settings at 60 Hz without any problems. Put in 32 BG DDR5-5200 RAM in it.

I dislike the black colour. There is the A16 7940HS 7700s with beige bottom, but keyboard top panel is still black. The G14 black has the soft touch coating, which is even worse fingerprint magnet and durability.

​@@midhunv5973 so i usually plug out the charger when i choose (update and shutdown) cause its always minor update and wont take long so my battery can hold the update by itself without charging so as always i update and shutdown my laptop, and i didnt even touch my laptop after that around 1 day cause my relative just moving out so im helping them when i open my laptop next day its always blue screen, and when i try opening software aplication(when the blue screen stopped) suddenly my laptop fan spin so fast and make the loudest noise i ever heard while using this laptop, when i hear that i instantly turn off the laptop after that theres no more blue screen and no more loud fan noise, but i dont find my graphic card in task manager, when i check device manager it said error code 43 i tried fresh clean re-installing both windows 10 and windows 11, and reinstalling gpu driver and still no luck i bring it to all service center in nearby city i could find all said the same, "it will be expensive to repair, cause u need to change the mainboard, you should just buy new laptop" well i dont have money to repair or buy new one, it seems like the gpu overheat and cause hardware problem so theres no way to fix it unless to change the mainboard i also try asking youtuber thats always do repair in short and thankfully he reply my dm in instagram (Andy Harding what a nice guy and great youtube video sastisfying repair) heres what he said "sorry to tell you but you GPU is dead. There is no way to repair without replacing the mainboard. The update did not cause the problem. The problem is hardware and very common on IdeaPad models that overheat. Sorry my friend." i already give up to repair it, it seems like theres no way to fix it, its the most expensive thing my parents ever give me(beside their love and care) and i broke it in 3 years, damn btw its lenovo ideapad gaming 3i 2020 (i5 10300h and gtx 1650)

I just got my A15 3 days ago... am I the only one with extremely high memory usage ? I can't open more than 3 app (like word, powerpoint and google) and I am already reaching 70% ram usage and my computer is lagging asf... I tried to play elden ring an it was impossible to play ^^' I mean my old Lenovo Yoga can open 20 times more applications without lag... Please help

This is an old comment but I hope you upgraded the RAM by now. A lot of the preinstalled software uses up a lot of the memory (RAM) so you need to add more. Running 32GB would be great, it only comes with 16. 64GB would be even better of course.
