So, basically depending on your usage, either of these laptops will be better for you. Rtx 3060 is more powerful compared to 3050 ti... About 10-15% So, if gaming, 3d modeling, VFX, interior designing etc is your usage, go for rtx 3060. For apps that are more single core optimised, all 3 laptops will be more or less on par... With a slight edge to the Intel siblings. For apps optimised for multi core usage, 11800h and 5800h will be slightly better than 11400h. So, get the laptop that best suits your requirements.

@RONTEK3 жыл бұрын
Both Intel and AMD options are great. Intel is a bit more future proof with PCIe 4 and Thunderbolt 4. But the decision should mainly depend on your usage. Generally, for gaming and Adobe apps, Intel has an edge. Whereas for productivity and other tasks optimised for more cores, AMD will perform better. You will be happy with either of them.

Hi, I’d be grateful if you can solve an issue for me, more like a doubt. So most of the times the temperature of my graphics card is maxed out at 86 or 87 percent. In your video, I never saw the temperature rising above 80. Also, the reason I am worried about this is, I use the nivida performance overlay to check the numbers, and the fan speed of my gpu always shows a zero, doesn’t move a bit, even at high temperatures. I assumed maybe the gpu doesn’t have a dedicated cooling fan at all, can you confirm this?
@RONTEK3 жыл бұрын
There are 2 fans in this laptop. 1 for CPU and 1 for GPU. To see the real time Fan RPM, you can simply open the ARMOURY CRATE App pre-installed on this laptop. To put it through a stress test, simply install the Blender Benchmark and run it in CUDA or OPTIX mode on top of Armoury Crate app. You'll get to monitor the real time change in fan speed and temps. In my test, the fans go as high as 5000+ RPM. Regarding high temps, you can elevate the laptop slightly to allow better air intake from the bottom. That should instantly reduce the temps by 3-5°C. Other than that, ambient temperature also has an impact on system temps. I conducted all these tests with a room temperature of 25°C.
@TheNiteviper3 жыл бұрын
@@RONTEK Thanks, I was looking for the fan speed in the Nvidia experience rather than Armoury Crate, your reply solved the issue, much thanks!

I've shown the temps while gaming in the performance section of the video. Still, at max load, the CPU temps hover around 85°C and GPU around 75°C. This laptop is way more powerful compared to 4600H and 1660ti. You can expect around 50% higher performance with the RTX 3060 and about 25% higher performance with 11400H

Yes, you can do so. With this laptop there are 2 display outs. The standard HDMI 2.0b is not connected directly to the GPU But the Thunderbolt 4.0 (with Display Port 1.4) is connected to the GPU. The Helios 300 also has a few other advantages in the form of multi zone RGB, faster ssd, USB PD (100W) etc. TUF F15 only has an advantage in terms of battery size (90Wh compared to 59Wh of Acer), higher refresh rate and a more neutral design (compared to a gamer design of Helios 300).

Im looking for a good monitor to pair with this laptop, but i do not know anything about monitors at all. Any recommendations? Thank u all :)
@RONTEK2 жыл бұрын
If you want a monitor strictly for gaming, you can consider a TN panel. But TN panels have poor color reproduction but high refresh rate and minimum ghosting. If you want one for media consumption or creation, VA or IPS panel is the way to go. VA panels have higher contrast ratio making the blacks look really black while they look like dark grey on IPS panels. But IPS panels have better viewing angles. Also, try to get a G-Sync compatible monitor to enjoy VRR (variable refresh rate) for gaming. That will remove all the screen tearing and let you play games without enabling v-sync in game.
