Regarding the screws in the back... I bought my TP410U new, and until tonight it had never been opened. I found, as you did, that there were four short screws, six long screws and one slightly-shorter-than-long screw, but the slightly shorter one was right in the middle of the back cover. If it's of any use to anyone... I opened mine up because the wifi signal has been very poor since the unit was dropped. After watching this video to see how to open it up (thanks!) I found the black and white antenna wires to the wifi board had come off their connectors. I popped them back on and full wifi signal strength is restored.

We had 2 of these TP410U and both had the wifi cable fell off inside issue. Not great, but easily fixed.

Thank you so much, installation went smoothly at home. There was 2 very small plastic pieces broken, but I believe those from the clamps which join the laptop together. And when installing back wifi board I thought I lost the small screw and thought of replacing it with external small screw but after a while found it and it was mixed up external srews. For first timer it impt to place all the screws separately different places in the direction of parts around laptop, so it's easy to remember for which part those screws are. Overall it was a smooth installation of Ram, Thank you.

quick question can a PC-17000 (2133 Mhz) ram works in this laptop?because in asus tech specs it says that on board/soldered ram is 2400Mhz (PC-19200)

Am I reading this correctly? I want to make sure before I order any memory= (or go through the process of getting to it, which is way more involved than I was expecting!) When I do a Crucial scan it say my TP410UAR has 1 slot (1 bank of 1) and that Standard Memory is 8GM removable, speed 2133, and recommends a 16GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM. Is this video showing me that there is 8GB of RAM soldiered to the mobo, and there's an empty slot? I just want to make sure I understand, because the instructions on this video are GREAT and I think I could pull it off without breaking anything (I've opened it up to replace the HDD with an SSD but never went further than that) but I'm worried I would then have the original 8GB, 2133 speed RAM on the mobo paired with the new 16GB of DDR4-3200 speed RAM. I'm hardly an expert in this sort of thing but I have heard that having two different size RAM, as well as different speed RAM, can cause all sorts of issues. Or am I reading this wrong and I'd actually just be swapping out the old 8GB of RAM for the new 16GB of RAM (which is what I expected before watching this video)???

So I tried it and, unfortunately, no matter what I did I can't get one of the battery screws out no matter what I tried. So I put it together. The really bad part now is I have no WiFi. So I can't work at all! This is a big problem. The WiFi board looks just like it did in the video except there was a piece of black tape over the screw and when I took the tape off the black and white wires detached from the WiFi board. I tried holding them back on with the tape and it seems like it might work, but it won't connect to any WiFi anymore! I don't know what to do!
