Please be careful. The laptop being upgraded here is ASUS X540L. The Ram upgrade will not work for ASUS X540S, because that particular model does not have the extra RAM slot on the back of the motherboard. Not all ASUS X540 series......are the same.

Same laptop added SDD as Primary Hard drive. But the data cable or thr hard disk connector cable always gives issue. Now changed for 3rd time and it broke just after a month. .the end point which connected to the Hard drive the blue plastics gets removed. Any help ?
