Watching from a Zenbook 14 OLED with Intel Core Ultra 9, i got 37,000 geekbench 6 gpu test plugged in and 27,000 on battery along with 1600 single core and 10,000 multi core, my biggest doubt was the build quality of the main chassis with the keyboard and trackpad, its nothing like the macbook which was my prevoius laptop but it is still very good and would deffinetly buy again! note my version from john lewis didnt come with a stylus or carry case

That doesn't matter for what processor you go, either is fine. You might want to check which one is more powerfull and the price .. though from a security standpoint the instructions set of intel has some weakness, AMD is more safer on that note, but these are very rare attacks ..so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Hi, I have been using it for more than 6 months and I notice that it overheats a lot. The battery does not have more than 70 cycles but the temperature reaches almost 70°C just by watching KZbin videos... My question is if you have noticed this in use and if it is normal... Thank you

Wow not ram upgradable. Well, the specs says it is dual channel which would mean two banks of 8Gb. Dual channel is a significant perf bump. Can you confirm 2 x 8GB? Thx! Really hard to find dual channel anymore under $1200

Great review but I stop considering buying this once you said you can't upgrade the ram. I could even upgrade the ram in my laptop from 10 years ago, so this lacking the ability to do it is a deal breaker

16 gb of ram , do you really need more ?? It would be a deal breaker if you had like 4 gb. I had a 4gb ram in my old viao laptop from 2008 , I upgraded that to 8gb. though 16 gb is more then enough.

Laptops have changed in the last ten years. Modern laptops have been greatly influenced by mobile devices, specifically the iPad. I doubt the RAM can be easily upgraded on any modern slim laptop.

I usually watch netflix 4K movies on my Qled TV recently I decided to watch other country listed movie listed on netflix on VPN using my Asus 14 Oled laptop, U X 3420za t,16GB RAM, he display were awesome ,then I try watching on my iPad M1 pro 120hz display, only then I appreciated the Asus , the Qled is Ok the iPad display looked washed out and the Asus is just Awesome listening thru my Sony XM5 headphones it is my private cinema

I got this laptop, returned it a week later. Horrible fan noise, slow. Cannot deal with multiple tasks. Ended up buying a dell inspiron. My advice, stay away and use your money elsewhere.

I think Asus Zenbook is a very low quality and terrible product. I recently bought the higher spec model (i7-1260P 12th Gen, 16GB RAM), but it turn out that it is a very terrible product. Basically, it cannot handle any slightly heavier task, every time when I open more browsers, using one-note, or copy many files, it will just turn off itself without warning. I am running this with power plugged in and full battery, so it is not related to power, more like something wrong with the processor or RAM. Their technical support also provide useless solution, only reply with unprofessional and irrelevant information. This is very frustrating, I used to support Asus over all these years, but with its quality now dropping so low, I will never buy Asus again!!!

I agree I see so many people praising this product. It is a beautiful laptop but the build quality is really not durable and it does not handle workload well. Not to mention my keyboard broke after 3 months. The battery life is also really short for a productivity laptop.

Nah dude U should have done a throughout research before pursaching it , basically the processor you hot is not of the world and IT is made for light tasks and power efficiency, even when you even got the latest gen and all , the processor is not made for heavy tasks . U should have gotten the G7 or H something , those are made for heavy tasks . In other words the laptop is good but you didn't know what to buy

Sounds like a problem with the ram. I would test it with each ram stick separately.
