I bought this laptop last week knowing I had a zoom PowerPoint presentation/interview to be a manager for Nandos. I was able to put zoom into the main screen and read from my presentation in the lower screen. I know it helped me look more professional and prepared. I got the job and was even offered a higher position. Amazing laptop and I've still not figured out all of its features!

I owned the 2019 version and am using the 2020 version. Not much difference between these two but the biggest one being on the 2019 version the main screen was not a touch screen. I guess there were other improvements made under the hood, but not entirely sure. The 2021 version has addressed most of the issues on the previous two versions, not only on the tilting secondary screen that has been talked about a lot but also the size of the SHIFT key which was a pain to use as it was half the size of a standard SHIFT key. Also, the pressure sensitivity on the 2021 version has been doubled to the highest (4096) meaning a better writing experience with the stylus. Moreover, the ports and graphics card have been upgraded as well making it possible to connect the laptop to one 8K or two 4K external displays. There're other improvements associated with the Intel Evo standard which means faster wake-up time from standby (1sec?), better battery life, etc. What I am not sure about the battery life, Asus made a wild claim on the battery life on the 2019 version, so I have serious doubts about their claim of 16hrs of battery life this time, but I'm confident it will get you through the day if all you do is web browsing and word processing with some video playing as that's what the 2019 and 2020 versions could do for me. Oh man, I can't wait to get my hands on one of these, they're sick!!

Hey I just wanted to thank you for saving my wallet. I just started college and my Mac ran out of memory. I was in a frenzy to find a new laptop for my computer studies class. I’ve heard of the duo before when I had been researching for laptops a few years prior so when I finally found the exact model I was looking at two years ago I was about to buy the 15 inch I-9 version, which is way more expensive than 2021’s version. I am using an Asus UX303. Hinges became bad which broke the monitor back cover just our of warranty. Repaired it myself for around $75. Now about 1.5 years later the same thing happened. Computer works fine but how many times should I repair it vs getting a new one? Anything with hinges and Asus worries me.

I am currently watching this on the 1st gen zenbook duo and I love it. The only thing I don't like about it is the lack of Thunderbolt 3 and the touch interface, it's okay for navigating but you cant write on it clearly or brush, etc. plus it is a little dark.

Seems like a hot device. But: It's a laptop, so why is noone showing how it is performing on TOP of your LAP? As there is no armrest and the keys are very on the bottom, I guess it's not really to be used on the Lap.... Would love to see someone sitting on a couch using this device...

That is a huge SSD - 1TB… are SSD drives reliable for long term use and storage. I'd hate to spend $1400 or more for this, only to have it crash a year later from degredation of the SSD... but I definitely want one of these. The secondary screen would be the perfect place for my text editing when I'm blogging.
