i actually couldn't justify buying a zenfone so i bought the old s10e. the battery is trash but i don't mind it as long as the phone is small

Hi, I recently got mine, did you have any trouble with the ultrawide sensor? Mine struggles to focus, it doesn't seem to do nothing when I try to manually focus. Is it because that sensor lacks variable focus? Or is my unit defective?

Thanks for the video! The only thing I don't like about this phone is the bottom chin which I cover with a black wallpaper.

Regarding the water resistance - I never thought much of it before either... but the other year I got 2 new things: a Pixel 6 and a new bathing suit with pockets. You may see where I'm going with this... 12 minutes in a hot tub, and I found out that Google's water resistance is NO JOKE. All that happened was there was a notification telling me that water was detected in the charge port so it was turned off. The phone was fine. I will never buy a phone without water resistance now.

My wife's Pixel 6 fared better with water than my Zenfone 10, just an observation. Both are fine now.

Great production but the voiceover still has a lot of room for improvement. I came here for the review but the narration is distracting. A script would really help cause at some points you sound unsure of what you're saying.

Is the fingerprint scanner reliable and quick ?

It's instant, but it needs to be bone dry, any moisture/condensation on the button or sweat on your finger and it won't read, give it a quick wipe and it works fine

S23's base storage is slower tho, performance and battery are not better than the ZF10. I'd get the S23 only if it's cheaper. ZF10 is a compact powerhouse, no contest. It has it's cons, but it's an all around great enthusiast phone. Wish it had more, but 2 day battery and compact size, is amazing

I have both the S23 and the Z10 and I think both phones are good, but I prefer the Z10 for its better battery life and better one hand experience. The S23 is a small phone but it is wider than the Z10. If you want better pictures go for the S23, if you want better battery life go for the Z10.

Agreed. I'm sure Samsung has more deals on it's base S23, but it isn't better in everything, and for the performance, you can't get anything better at the same price

5 year phone usage software not that important? the emphhasize is way too much on not software support. ask any pc user what version of windows they use.

I'm still using huawei p20 from 2018 & the phone was never been updated. Now my camera shoots better than a lot of new models and my battery holds on for a day and half... So this things with updates is only to makes your phone out of date to buy a new model or so... 😉

Just got mine and on the last update of Android 13 because A14 was bad on Galaxy a54 and pixel 6a for me.
