But generally it can be said that with higher clock speed power consumtion would be more., what you are saying is just the possible benifit of finishing a task faster and shutting down your system, which would result in saving power ( power which is used to run other components).

bhailog sd636 having 1.8 ghz and sd660 in max pro M2 is 1.95 ghz its under clocked diffrence is in GPU section not else though actual speed of sd660 is 2.2 ghz that samsung provides at around 25k.now also sd636 max m1 is better with 6 gb ram option
