If I have an Asustor Nimbustor 2 Bay, how long would it last for a 650va ups

Oh boy...people. It is not a ‘gamble’ to set it to shutdown when UPS is low. Obviously you don’t understand how batteries work, last and discharge, but rest easy that the UPS people do know their stuff. (Both the UPS and NAS will continuously calculate remaining uptime given the load/current vs. batterie’s voltages and decide/predict when to shutdown).

And if the NAS OS hangs because of an errand application awaiting completion? Or the system updates a fw update during the battery period that overrides the shutdown rule? Or if a scheduled scan in the file system commences that prevents shutdown? Or if there is a file exchange request and it opens a transfer that's interrupted mid send, that without ECC memory of a checksum file system in place, won't be noticed? Can I recommend you put the UPS book down and pick the file storage system one up. They are surprisingly detailed
