ASV RT75HD MAX Forestry Mulching Loftness Battle Ax

A recent, 1.08 acre forestry mulching project completed by Carolina EarthWerx. We utilized our brand new ASV RT75HD-Max Forestry Edition skid steer with a Loftness Battle Ax mulching head. Hope yours lasts longer than my max did. I only got about 350hrs before every safety sensor started going out, muffler brackets broke off, left me stranded on a few jobs and had to climb out the E-hatch on more then one occasion, then both tilt cylinders snapped off, traded it and got a 120f and never looked back!

Holy cow! That stinks. I’ve got about 500 on this machine and we just picked up another. Haven’t had many issues other than fuses and some hydraulic lines. I will say my dealer is exceptional which is the main reason for going with them.

@@CarolinaEarthWerx you must of got a good one! Im in middle sc and know some guys running asv and we all are having the same issues. My dealer even dropped them and no longer service or sell them.

Wow that’s crazy. I use sound heavy machinery in Wilmington NC, give them a call. They might be able to help. Mine have been tanks so far.

I don't think you mentioned it in the video, but how long did the job take to mulch the 1 acre?
