I have some studying to do. I will probably go back to the library and grab a Kaplan asvab prep book again. Electronics information and shop will take a week or two to really feel comfortable.

So ASVAB questions already have the answers and is just common sense?

A lot of the problems can be figured out with common sense. That's kind of the point of the test, how well you can figure it out in the field

Question 4 should be C the valve body is part of the transmission, normally located at the oil pan.

This is part of a problem i have with some of the study guides, and literature i have read. Transmissions have a valve body.....inside the transmission. How would you assume which answer they are looking for? I've run into this with vocab and Electrical

I think number four is incorrect. The valve body is located inside the transmission and is what controls the hydraulics. The clutch plate simply rest up against the fly wheel in the transfer case so that’s not really the best answer.

I was thinking same thing will. I only know because I use to have a 2010 dodge ram 1500 quad cab. It got stuck in 4th gear manual aka limp mode. I had to pull the valve body out the tyranny and replace the gear shift solenoid, which is attached to the valve body
