This is so so sad. Too much negligence in the medical system in Jamaica. From Drs office , clinics, to hospitals, to member of Parliament, and Ministry of health . The real good carers get lost amongst the ones who don't care . The nurse who left her and went to lunch could have waited or leave responsible cover for her break. This patient should have had her blood count corrected before surgery or immediately after.
