"Witness for the Prosecution." One of my personal lifetime top films, always admired Powers' performance, but also his casting, looking just the right bit "seedy." Never knew it was almost the end for him. Thanks for this great recap of his career. Baby Boomer born in 1953, it was as "Captain from Castile" that I first thought he was great.

For years and years, my Aunt Mary would come over for a visit and squeeze my face and say: "How's my little Tyrone Power?" I didn't know what she meant and one time when I was about 10 years old (1965) I asked her who Tyrone Power was, and she said, "the handsomest Man that ever lived". I didn't understand the compliment - I later came to know him through some of his movies.....

All these documentaries say.that. the actor or actress was gay. I think too many people were jealous of their looks, talent and success. Maybe some were gay. Maybe all were gay. What difference does it make at this point in time. I personally don't give a damn what they did in their private life. All the smut is disgusting . Jealousy is a disgraceful thing. Don't smear them because they aren't here anymore to defend themselves. That just makes you look small cheap and petty. I guess that's what these people making the documentaries are. Small cheap and petty. I don't believe there were that many gays. EVERY actor or actress??????

Tyrone Power was so handsome that chances are that he was propositioned by several - or many - men. That this did not happen to gorgeously handsome Tyrone Power is most unlikely.
