He's a smart man. He had his turn in Hollyweird. Made his money. (And kept it by NOT getting married) He still has relationship and walks away when it's done. Bravo! His former girlfriends still respect him, or at least his privacy. Full respect. From what I see, he's got the right attitude and makes the right decisions.

@Defender789 ай бұрын
thats a very clever observation, "movement and dialogue" perfectly describes John in so many movies, even in an action flick like Con Air ('97), he moves gracefully in a role normally played by Wesley Snipes or Jason Statham. His days as a prime draw faded after, as far as i can tell, around 2012, with the '09 release of the "2012" disaster flick. But John was in TONS of solid movies during the 80s, 90s , and 00s, had a 24 year run, say from 1986 to 2010, as a solid A-list actor for comedic and thriller roles. His star power faded quickly after, but he shouldn't be ashamed.

Now I know why I like this man. I’m like him in so many ways. I’m 50 years old and people ask me why I’m still single and why I don’t date. I respond with give a man who can keep up with me and my beliefs, who doesn’t want to change me and let me be me, and isn’t one of those men who is dumb as a door nail and can think on his own. I want a man who is intelligent and independent. I don’t want a dog to train. I think John is looking for his equal. He has been in so many films centered around relationships. He’s seen so many come and go in Hollywood that I think he just wants someone who is on his same level of thinking and commitment, which is hard to find. I loved John in so many films. He was brilliant in Better Off Dead, Say Anything, Must Love Dogs, Serendipity, the Stephen King thriller Room 1408, Con Air, and Grosse Pointe Blank. For me there is a tie, my two favorite John Cusack film’s are High Fidelity and The Raven. Both are opposites of each other, one he is a quirky loveable man that works in a record store and the other is the drunk, Edgar Allan Poe, who is helping to solve a stream of murder cases that follow his writings. He was so good in both films. I could sit and watch both films over and over and not be bored.

I married once, to an incredible lady and did it in ten days. My uncle did the same. When you know, you know, and you can't FORCE something involving two souls to just happen, like a 7/11 coffee available any time. If I hadn't met this one person, I'd probably never have been married, and that's ok. I've raised/fed a number of kids not my own, and that's all good, too.

I think the real underlying message here is that if you’re a celebrity - married or not - it’s no one else’s business what you do in your romantic life! Too many great John Cusack movies to have a favorite but I freaked out and joined the army like Martin Blank. I just didn’t ditch my girlfriend on prom night and didn’t become a paid assassin. I must admit though, being a hit man does seem like it would be more lucrative and fulfilling. 🤔

I'd be single, independent, travel, work on better myself and contribute to the helpless needy ppl. I wouldn't bring children into this world. A world of crime, poverty, dangerous ppl. Brining innocent lives into this world would just bring more innocent ppl here to suffer. Our world isn't a beautiful wonderful place I once thought was when I was young. Maybe I will change my mind one day If there's no poverty no crime, no inequality . However, that's impossible.
