Born (subbase hospital) and raised in Groton (Groton Bank),, I found this fascinating. I have walked many of the places mentioned, Haley Farm, Bluff Point, trying to picture early track locations of both train and trolley lines. I'm a model railroader and have a module somewhat my stomping grounds at the Groton Wye. If I had remained a resident of the area, I would have spent more time researching and perhaps modeling some of the more prominent features. Thoroughly enjoyable, thank you.
