Winning Guitar Center's Drum Off Grand Finals at an astonishing age of 11, Tony Royster Jr., now 27, returned to Guitar Center's Hollywood Store for this insightful clinic. A virtuoso of many musical styles, Royster has preformed alongside some of the worlds top artist including Jay-Z, Joe Jonas, and #1 selling Japanese artist Hikaru Utada. Tony's mind blowing hand and foot speed, complimented by his controlled independence, come into easy view in this video recorded in September 2011. His instructional DVD's "Pure Energy" (2007), and The Evolution of Tony Royster (2009) are further examples of his journey to becoming a drum legend.

I dont think humility is about that: talking about a gift you got from God is exactly the opposite, is assuming you have something special than the others dont have: people who play the best they can without talking about their gifts are more humble and in the other hand if he is s o talented and recognizes that comes from God I would like to know what he does for other talented people in the world who arent so lucky to be educated by one of the greatest drummers of all times; iI am sure that there are quite a lot of black people around the world with tones of talent who will never be that lucky. They are needing a chance...who will help them to get it??? Humankind is stucked in this current absurd stage because we as a whole arent able to give chances to all who deserve it..we are so stupid to worship those who show up all that gold and forget all the brothers who cant express theirselves... Humilty is recognizing that talent is in everyone not only in himself, and helping others to express their gifts.

Jorge Villegas not everyone could play as he did when he was 12 years old if you have seen his video of course, the truth is that he got a talent that not all got, he is humble to say that he is blessed or “lucky” as many choose to say, recognizing it and saying that he is happy when he can inspire other people to work hard (because he did) is what makes him humble and worth of his talent, to be able to encourage other that maybe isn’t as gifted as him, to work harder, is to recognize that a hardworking person outscales a talented lazy person so at the end it doesn’t matter how talented you are but how passionate you are and how much willpower and work you put into it. He is talented but he’s also worked hard to get where he is now. I’ve talked to him and I know .
