16 years ago my mum used to use TCB relaxer, her hair was gorgeous.

@@donnellebethel Yes, she used to get it professionally back home in Congo. Once we got to Canada, she started doing it by herself now her hair has been shoulder length since 2008.

Try affirm relaxer in normal strength or mizani butter blend. Keep on praying God will continue to bless you.

🎉 Do you need to use a neutralizing shampoo with tcb no base relaxer? I’m seeing many African ladies using regular shampoo and conditioner only 😮.

I believe with any relaxer it is very safe to use the neutralizing shampoo. It helps us ensure that we have no more relaxer in our hair to avoid, over processing and scalp burns. Honestly when it comes to relaxer, education is key, because unfortunately many of these salons are in business because of the money and not because they actually “know” hair.
