How I install my double-sided tape-in hair extensions using our Hair Wefting Tape and our seamless pro single side tape doing a sandwich method type install.

I really love how creative you got in regards to hair taping. I think it takes a lot of courage to do it different from what everyone else is doing especially when you're trying to teach other people how to take care of themselves and they want you to pay them money. This is definitely different than the salons do and I love that you put this out there and made it accessible for the rest of us.

Hi Hajanlka as you can see in the video these wefts I made myself and I don't have any problems with them falling apart ever, Also I wash and dry many times and do many takedowns and they don't fall apart or they should never fall apart if you make them right. I always trim mine down to make them as thin as possible and then re-apply my Beta bond or Liquid gold glue whatever one I am using when making my wefts and then I re-tape and reinstall but they should never fall apart ok hope this helps!. Thank you for showing us how to do it at home! I did not apply the single side tape to finish because I am afraid it could make the take off more difficult. And what are the advantages of using the beta bond adhesive instead of double side tape? Thank you for your attention and I expect to receive your answers. Hi Sib gb and you're welcome :) and yes everyone has to find what works best for their own hair type when it comes to installs. For me, I use to use Liquid gold bond a weave glue to my weft to my hair before I found beta bond plus ..Because it was just easy to put on and take off by myself, but now with the beta bond plus it works wonderful just like LG did but the beta bond plus is skin safe and so I am not worried about my skin/hair due to it not being toxic. And I was never a fan myself of sandwich method because I had to use a rat tail comb to pull it apart and with fine hair, it was scary to pull what little hair I have like that. So with all that said :) I like the glue to the weft because at the end when I did takedowns I just added the remover to the weft and hair and waited for it to work and then it would just slide right out with less damage. BUT THAT'S what I liked:) so I do hope this helps ...www.hairweftingtape.com

YES and thank you, Amanda, and when I do take downs I just spray my super solv remover and wait maybe 15-20 min and add hot water to it and more super solv and out it will come not having to pull sandwiched hair apart :)

@@Hairweftingtape Ufortunately my weft took 1 hour of applying Super Solv and finally also C22 (I was already worried) to come out. I lost a lot of hair in the process :(

@sib gb Hello Sib and so sorry to hear it was so hard for you? but did you use warm to hot water? this is key to removal and I think C-22 is stronger but both work and just so you know you didn't shed any hair the whole install and this sometimes looks like a lot, but going slow is key also, Please If you ever have a problem or anyone you should always call us so we can help you if we can Maybe just doing the sandwich method is best for you in the long run, or just using the single side as a backing these are much easier removals if you are having a hard time removing the adhesive, just yesterday I only used Neutrogena eye makeup remover, and nothing else and my weft took only a few min to remove. I am sorry you had such a hard time. And I do hope this helps. Also, less is always more when it comes to adhesives of any kind, also(time) you should never use glue if it's a short install if it's months later washing and drying this always loosens the adhesive up, hope these tips help. Hi Kristen and once you are ready to remove your install, you would wash dry your hair extensions, and then you would just trim off a bit of the tape and glue as best you can so you can keep it nice and thin and then re-tape and reinstall ...ok hope this helps! www.hairweftingtape.com

Hi Nena our tape comes on a roll so you can pre-cut your tape to any size you like, and you asked if it comes in black? and tape is clear, but you can always add a tiny amount of rite dye to your glue and mix it and it will become black glue if you like. ok hope that helps

Hi Lacey and either remover will remove Beta Bond but Super solv was made to use with Beta bond plus adhesive + I love the smell of Super solv way better then c-22 :) oh and always when doing a removal use warm water on your hair/tape/glue because it really is key for breaking down adhesive. I always use hot to warm water and it makes removing hair extensions so much faster:) ok hope this helps! www.hairweftingtape.com
