GIRL, during this pandemic , GOD ALLOWED ME TO PUT MYSELF ON. I already did my own nails, but I mastered how to do my own hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, and full body wax. 😂😂😂😂 . I literally will never need a salon again unless I am feeling lazy and I don't want to make the time to do it myself. I will most likely be going to a hair stylist in the future for different styles I can't do, but I am LIVING MY BEST with these new skills, and doing it better than the salon was doing it. Tip about wax temp. If your wax is moving really fast or really runny then it is too hot! It should be moving slowly, like honey or molasses but still be easy to spread on the skin.

I'm going to start waxing myself at home and the best advice I have ever gotten from a waxer 16 years ago, with a Brazilian, was to use Orajel 30 minutes beforehand. Best. Advice. Ever. It works like a charm. You still feel it but it seriously takes the edge off. Still need to do everything else normally like the powder. Just wanted to share. ❤️

I am a licensed aesthetician and I have always used soft wax, even on the most sensitive skin. Some soft waxes are suitable for sensitive skin types. I have been using it on my clients (and myself) for years and have never had an issue. I even wax my own Brazilian. With that being said, I am making the switch over to hard wax because I don’t like all of the extra waste. But it really is just personal preference.

Waxing underarms is super easy. I just use veet wax strips. No need to melt some wax, or waste a waxing stick. Super cheap and easy. Very little cleanup. I only use 1 strip per session. Brazilian wax on the other hand is a bit tricky. I like hard wax too. It probably would’ve been easier if you dont have to get into some yoga position to get all the hair off lol. But i’ve done it myself 3-4x. Never been to a waxing salon.

Roll on wax is fantastic for larger areas like legs and arms where your putting it on and just using plain strips to rip off the hair real quick and hard wax I feel works really well for your underarms and coochie. Also I just use baby Johnson’s baby powder works just as well 🙂 hope this helps some of y’all
