I have so much to say about this episode! He's so right. Being at home, working from home for almost 2 years, my creativity has exploded. It's so nice to walk into a home that's not all white and neutral colors. I'm stealing so many ideas from this colorful home. I've become obsessed with Schumacher! Johnson cracked me up when he said that he just noticed the price tag from the auction on the mirror. I've been buying and decorating from auctions for a couple of years and it's such decorating fun. I've gotten classic and very expensive pieces for pennies because often people like buying cheap from Ikea.

I recently finished an upholstery course and have been reupholstering and refinishing chairs in awesome colors. Johnson mentioned Amazon for fabrics, but I also love picking up wonderful fabrics on Etsy. I also grab boxes of vintage fabrics, napkins, table cloths, etc. at my favorite online auctions. Oh...and pictures. Geez...I'd better stop or I'll go on and on and I need to go finish decorating for Christmas with the HUGE box of vintage mercury glass ornaments that I recently picked up for $5
