I want to go the Academy route to become an Officer and work my way into the Military but I want to get the experience first by just becoming a Seaman or Mariner first . Any tips ?

My biggest tip is always be you . They try to down play females at times especially the ones that can work . Just always be you & if you go the school route things will get hard at time but just remember it’s worth it
