I can't say about the Accord, but the Camry headlights are SUPER bright and cast very far. Even the low beams light up an entire road for quite a ways. It's impressive.

Accord TBH, I am a Honda guy anyway. The Accord has more tech and the styling is better. What I like about the Camry though is the XSE trim with the panoramic sunroof!

Always love your night time vids. I can imagine even creating a better beam pattern with clear lenses. Most have frosted lens, although luxury brands like MB, BMW don't must be from their chosen projector manufacturer (Automotive Lighting).

MackyG 0:36-0:39 when he focuses on the lenses, there are indentations on the lenses. These are called frosted projector lenses, if you replace them with clear lenses, the beam would be sharper and project further. These are more than adequate, although the high beams are weak imo compared to a Mercedes ILS.

theRealicon I see. Thank you for pointing that out. I was a bit worried as I had purchased this vehicle and reading your review had concerned me. Per your advice you had mentioned that replacing the lens would do it better? Would that in anyway affect the vehicle in a negative way?

MackyG Not at all. All you are replacing is the projector lenses themselves. Everything is as they should. Search this company, retrofit source, they are the primary resource on this topic. For me, I wouldnt really bother with it unless you are really conscious about it while driving.

theRealicon much appreciated! Thank you for your wisdom and knowledge regarding the lenses. I will do some research on the company you have recommended. If it's too much of a hassle I will not go forward with it, bit one of the reasons I had gone ahead with the Camry was reliability and their projector headlights compared to others in its class. They seem to be more reliable and "brighter".

Not available on the sportier XE/XSE, you have to get the Camry XLE for that.

I love both the Camry and the Accord. I'd go Camry for sure if they changed their infotainment system to include AA and ACP. The majority of my dealings inside this vehicle will be with the infotainment system not the interior or exterior design. Unfortunately Toyota is head of the pack with digging in their heels in regards to this matter. They even started an anti AA & ACP club for god's sake! So a Camry in my driveway will have to wait until they get a clue. Until then I'll have to go with an Accord which I like just as well I suppose. Also I think Camry is a little scarily over styled for my taste this year. Looks Alien like.

Thanks for nighttime video and review! No other vehicle can compare to the 2017 Honda CR-V. I just love that vehicle. lol but it's good to watch other reviews of vehicles.
