Same here it comes on and off. I don’t have a modem tho. Just a cord that comes up from the floor. I tried another jack. No go. I think it’s the service because I called it twice they rebooted and it worked but then went no line shortly after. It’s been happening on and off for two days weird. It also says my mailbox is full and then in my voice it says busy busy. I never recorded that.

What causes a dead port? I always unplug the Spectrum equipment and let it reset, but a day (sometimes hours) later I have dead phones again.

I have dsl and phone line on a splitter. I got same message no line. If I take out splitter and put phone line directly into jack the phone then says handset. The problem is no internet. Do you have any ideas? I figured my old phone bit the dust as I tried new battery. So bought the same phone again. Can't get past this no line. Thsnks

Let Me Explain My Problem I was on my house phone on A Call The Phone Was Beeping Then It Hung Up itself Or To The Point Where I couldn't hear the other person Then I plugged it into its stand thingy Got the other house phone That house phone said line in use So I unplugged the house phone that I had plugged in and that did nothing Then I did the *7890# number thingy but the arrow keys wouldn't go up or down for me to select something So then I tried to take out the batteries and then put them back in and that didn't do anything so I don't know what to do now.
