Wouldn’t be surprised if all carriers raise prices

Costs a lot of money to build these networks. Everything is going up.

That’s mean prepaid plans and lines are going up

So if we are going off of the article, only 2 of the many plans on firstnet are getting a price increase. So either poor article or not all firstnet is getting an increase. Which is it? 🤔

They only have 1 plan the other is just a tethering add-on option
@evanh41866 күн бұрын
@Techlifechannelwelcome the $45 is the one with unlimited tethering, which is the plan I rock for my personal device. The $40 plan doesnt include tethering. They do have data bucket plans but those are irrelevant from what im referring to. The other unlimited plans they offer are with or without BE. BE is defined by att as "best effort" and gives the higher priority firstnet is known for or the lower priority tier. All of this i can provide proof as it's the service I run for myself and others.
@evanh41865 күн бұрын
@@Techlifechannelwelcome so after reviewing my account i 50% agree with you on the 1 plan. Technically they have the 40 and 45 plans. The 40 being unlimited on device only and the 45 including unlimited on device and tethering. The BE add on i referred to is technically a $2 add on. So i suppose it really depends how you look at it. Per the article only the $45 plan get the increase as the $40 never gets mentioned. Therefore i would suspect its either incorrect information OR a $3 increase to the unlimited tethering option/plan.

Isn't the US government (taxpayers) reimbursing AT&T for the First Net build? How are they able to raise prices? We are already paying for build of the 1st responder network.

The networks are getting expensive to build out
@emcdonald756 күн бұрын
@ Aren’t the networks getting expensive for all wireless carriers? Should we just give them all government reimbursements plus allow them to overcharge customers to help build out their networks? I would think government reimbursements that basically helps build out the First Net network that also helps with your consumer network should allow for lower prices for First Net customers. I think these price increases are tied to all of the wireless carriers’ fiber expansions because fiber is expensive.

@ it’s the cost of doing business everything is going up around us
@emcdonald756 күн бұрын
@ I thought we just voted in one way in the election because everything was going up around us. Are you telling me that now we accept and understand that everything is going up around us? We accept the economy as it is, and not how we want it to be? This is truly an oligarchy. They tell us a price and tell us how things will be, and we just accept it. People that do not accept it are the enemy within, and people that do accept it are just good customers that understand “the new economy”. I love America. Government and business working together to screw the American people just a little more, and we just hand over the vaseline, like we always do. 😳

@@johnringo1145 I don’t even have FirstnNet. Just felt the need to complain. Last year, I received a $2.50 price increase to remain on unlimited elite. Then a $7 increase for Turbo feature if I wish to remain on QCI 8. Two months ago an additional $5 increase to remain on elite. Meanwhile, speed and reliability is decreasing on home site. Will gladly pay these increases once site is upgraded. The surrounding area has midband, they just skipped my tower.
