Napoleon solo. .. I had a friend who lived with me for a while. He drank himself to death. I was the one who found him in his room. Had to defeat the lock. It took me forever to get it together to open the door because I knew what I'd find. So that line "hint of suspense when that telephone rings, this is forever". That's how it felt opening the door. And then seeing him grey, cold, stiff with his arms pulled up towards his chest. Haunts my still almost 4 years later
