All I got to say is "A relation without communication is just two people." I'm very disappointed in the Female lead.. She broke up with the ML just because of her own delusions of 'being not worthy' or 'not tying him down' BS... She even left the city and blocked all contacts with him so that he couldn't reach her.. She should've talked things out with the ML and let him know of her problems.. If the ML left her after that, then it would've been his fault... Yeah, the ML hurt her in many ways he didn't know but she just chose to endure till the end... When the ML asked her to give him a last chance to start from scratch, She refused him because '*She didn't want to get hurt anymore*' I just can grasp any mistakes the ML made during that time.. He remained faithful and did his duties as a good boyfriend till the end... Edit : He deserved a million times better girl than Ingrid Please make a Part 2 about him awakening and reincarnating back in time.... (I know this is a novel but you can write one yourself...) Please(?!)

Communication doesn't solve depression. FL was SAed, locked up and mentally tortured to the point she's suicidaI. As soon as she made an appearance to the media, her past was brought up. Her past which she h8ed would've been brought up countless times if she stayed with Devin (social standings) because that's how people are, they only focus on a person's worst part. I don't blame Ingrid for wanting not to involve herself with him due to his social status, especially if that's how he's treating her after so many years "I'll t0rment you for leaving me kinda bullsh*t" Also people would say she's unworthy and filthy if she married him because SA victims are always blamed. Although I agree she could've told her why she doesn't want to be with him, I'm also curious why he didn't sought her out himself with his connections and power. Their story although fictional isn't that much different from real life. Depression is really eviI and strips a person of all security.

@@soakedpasta "Communication doesn't solve depression." If your first line is this flawed, I don't expect much from your paragraph.... FL could never have recovered if Victoria wasn't by her side... Didn't the ML changed his ways after learning the truth? Though it was late, it showed he was willing to change his ways for her sake... At the time when they were together, ML even went as far as to miss his lesson just to get snacks for his girlfriend... I am sure that if problems similar to before arose in her new relationship, She'd never confide in with her new boyfriend... ML learnt an unwanted lesson even though FL didn't learnt the one meant for her.... A good relationship requires balance. Two people who equal teach other out and *Are there for each other no matter what* ML was willing to be by her side.. But the FL didn't accept that.

@@OreNoNawa_ErenYeager the ML leaving all things aside to rush over to the FL is the very reason she didn't tell him anything. That incident happened at the peak of his career. Let's say he left all of it to come to her, she'd blame herself everyday for it. Distancing herself from him must've been the last bit of favour she thought she was doing. And I stand by what I said. Communication doesn't solve depression. Only if it were that simple. It took her years to slowly get better. Her friend indeed helped her because maybe Victoria was who she needed the most at that time, not him. Not to forget, she's been seIfharming the entire time. You say "I'm very disappointed in the FL", once you've lost all sense of security about yourself to the point you want to delete yourself you can't expect them to be the bigger person in the relationship. Some want to be surrounded by the ones they want while some want to be left alone. He came back and her condition worsened. She started to get better after therapy, mainly after ML distanced himself from her because he came to realise that is what's best for her.

@@soakedpasta Whatever BS happened, ML was not a bit at a fault in that.... He didn't deserve to be lonely, to only experience that dream in his sleep... *I* think, that fact that ML couldn't move on is because of FL's last words.... I don't know what she should've said at that time, but overall, this story must've been written by a dickhead. I don't support Dog Authors...
