“It was really steep. No it wasn’t, it was fun. No, were we on the same trail.” You two are a riot. Happy hiking.

Tina your hair is amazing, you look so fresh at the hotel. That feeling of relaxing after being damp and dirty for a few days is amazing!

You can crush miles in the 100 miles wilderness. The Maine pain does not really stop until after the Bigalows. You still have about 150 miles to go with this. Keep it up!

Get a huge kick out of how Tina sees the world compared to Jay....the look on her face is precious when Jay makes no sense....lol

I remember telling people we had to pull ourselves up steep slopes by grabbing trees, roots, rocks, etc in southern Maine...

I remember it feeling so so lovely to reach a spot where I could take just two normal strides in a row….the trail is one huge lesson on not taking even the littlest thing for granted.

Tina has 'uber' hair! It's comforting to know that my girl isn't the only one contradicting what I say. Really gonna miss these vlogs when you finish.

The trees normally grow straight up. That is how I judge how steep it is. Your are getting closer now. Great jab. Thanks for sharing.

After the fall out from the previous week and hard rock scramble the previous day, it was a relief to see you both in the hotel room to get some much needed rest and further recovery!

Awesome job getting to Bethel Jay and Tina! I'm sure you both deserve the break after coming through the toughest part of Maine. Katahdin will be the next most difficult part of Maine, but you'll have no issues. Thank you for taking us on your journey with you. Please stay safe and happy trails!

Thanks for another great video! I think PocketRocket has earned a new nickname: Mountain goat! 😊🐐 I was out hiking today for 4 hours, half of it through rough, trail-less woods and terrain... when it got steep or tough to get through, I found myself muttering "If Jay could get through Mahoosuc notch, I can do this!" 😁😁

Jay, that is so true! You forgot a time when the trail was just a trail and it didn't require any scrambling! I felt the same way out there. And Pocket Rocket cracked me up with the technique comment! 🤣

I forgot to mention that teaser at the end of the date you're hoping to summit. It's so amazing you're able to forecast your date. If you don't have plans that weekend after your summit, I can help with that lol. Let me know if you need a ride anywhere. It would be my honor to take you to the airport, or anywhere else. We could go whale watching or moose searching.
