On semi trucks, they work great. I would like to see a A.C. system built for refrigerant to air cooler. A guy could incorporate a accumulator so that you have 10-20 seconds cooling with the compressor off. Imagine 35f intake temps on a 110° day. Anyhow great discussion 👍

Thanks again for testing

Kenne bell and gale banks have both put out information about under hood heat effects on intake temp/power on boosted intercooled set ups. So sucking in air through an ice water inlet air to water pre supercharger m90 or gt45 and then a pre and post super/turbo air to water air test. The realest real world intercooler test😂

Probably would get some with increased speed, but it would probably plateau relatively fast.

We aren't looking at hours of turbo usage. So, it's a boost to time of use. And I don't have answers other than egress of heat on the back side. Yeah, I'm spit balling

I thought the air to air intercoolers, or radiators, could only flow so much air to begin with. I remember reading in Hot Rod that putting screens over the grill was the same as having a solid panel at high speed.

they do have a flow limit-but higher pressure on the front side (and lower on back side) increases the flow rate (think of it as boost)
