The grown man Ata is a drug addict. He saw his younger self (boy Ata) receiving a cigarette and castigated him as cigarettes lead to harder stimulants. The man who came to Ata's car was the drug dealer but Ata has run up a debt and the man would not give him more drugs until he cleared it. That's why Ata followed him at the end and pleaded for some drugs
