I am an installer in South Yorkshire and fitting my first ATAG next week. Really good video buddy, very informative.

Thanks mate. I think you'll find them easy. Condense takes a second to work out but the end goes straight into a condense fitting. Flue cuts same length inner and outer pipe. Combined PRV and condense. Commission mostly from the boiler display. It's pretty installer friendly.

Yes....I really liked this video, it was informative and I think a boiler with a 10 year guarantee is amazing

Thank you Karen. I was really impressed with it and the 10 year upgrade is so cheap it's almost giving it away! Hope things are well with you.

9pm on a Saturday night........you nuts 😏 Attempting to buy a property with an ATAG standard boiler in it..........never heard of them before, but makes me feel a bit better in your review. Cheers 👍

I've fitted lots of Atag boilers now, all from their ic and ic Economiser range and I've got nothing but good things to say about the boiler and the company. You've got nothing to worry about on that front. 9pm on a Saturday night I know, what was I thinking, I should be spending money not earning it at that time

That flue is quite low to the ground I think you need a flu guard on that and why is the outdoor sensor fitted so low to the ground?

Flue is miles off the ground , and besides it's private property so not a big deal , sensor high is probably to keep boiler on slightly longer, again no big deal

Why didn’t you have the ATAG ONE controller? And can you use Nest instead? (Are you still with ATAG..??) 👍🏼

Hi Jay, Sorry for the delayed response. As this was my first Atag, I wanted to use the Atag programmable thermostat and keep it 100% Atag. We've since installed lots, and either use the Atag One for smart control, or a Honeywell T4 (R or M) for regular in house control using Open Therm. I would have no issue fitting a Nest with them, using their Open Therm technology though.
