If the Parliament does not do its job, and the Executive does not take decisions, the matter hangs, and the Prime Minister is asked 'Why don't you make a decision?' then his answer is 'Not taking a decision is also a decision!' (LAUGHTER) On the basis of what is printed in the newspapers I am asking this: If they have not printed it right, then will Mr Narasimha Rao correct it? Not taking a decision is also a decision! This is the situation... How will we run this nation?

For a long time the Lokpal bill was gathering dust. Is the PM above the law. If there are accusations or complaints against the PM, tell me whose door to knock on? For a long time it was debated whether the PM should come under the purview of the Lokpal or not? It's fine that the other day Mr Narasimha Rao had given clearance that the Lokpal should include the PM. But then I asked 'Where is the bill?' He had not brought it.

Ordinance on other matters! This government is ready to enact ordinance on other matters! Such matters which are related not with increasing votes, but with governance of the votebank! Ordinance can be enacted on this matter as well! The other day my friend was complaining that the courts were interfering too much. Perhaps it was Comrade Inderjeet Gupta. Judicial activism!

The bit about judicial intervention in executive matters is so true! There is another interview here by Harish Salve (Senior Advocate) wherein he also made the same point. Albeit, he defended the judiciary and Atal was sort of giving a warning.

bjp want lokpall but at that time small regional parties block the bill in 1999 Bjp got total 183 seats in 2009 congrss got 207 Mp so U can Understand who is in better postion to pass Lok pall.
