Çatalca Wind Power Plant in Turkiye

To help mitigate the risks of climate change, IsDB has financed numerous renewable energy projects in Turkiye. The 93 megawatt Çatalca Wind Power Plant - west of Istanbul - stands as a successful example of IsDB’s aspirations to help boost planet-friendly sustainable development plans in its member countries. The Bank has contributed US$ 30 million to the project which is only one of the several similar wind power projects in the country
