They seemed to take turns answering the questions with ease. I love that. Nobody hogging the attention.

Loved this interview! So amazing seeing artists actually put thought into their answers and share their genuine opinions and feelings rather then the curated answers pre-crafted by a PR team prior to the interview. Artists in the West are often such enterprises and so highly managed by big teams in the background you rarely get a sense of who they genuinely are. I love that these girls whole image is based on just being themselves without that highly curated idol presentation. AG! is awesome!

These girls are veterans already. No wonder they look so good on stage and know exactly what to say. Looking forward for what's to come and hope I can see them live someday

Great interview. Koi Geba is one of my favorites by AG! I'm happy to hear that this is their first recommendation for international audiences, since it's a song that relates to their music culture.

In most interviews I’ve seen they act so unhinged, so it was refreshing to see them act “out of character” here lol :)

I knew Koi Bumi had anime influences. It has a lot of the common elements that a good anime theme song usually has and now I know I wasn't crazy for thinking it was like that on purpose.
“Y’all” is in every question and “so” starts off every answer.

they seem like quite the interesting group live. A lot of old school performance art going on in their shows.
@hoooyea1632 жыл бұрын
Their name means “new school” in japanese! I think it is an interplay between old and new styles of jpop, i wish they had asked about the story or coming about of their band name
@VolkXue2 жыл бұрын
@@hoooyea163 i mean like storytelling interpretive dance and stuff like that. It could be interesting for them to do an entire album that tells a long story and performance art to go with it in live shows. It would be a mix of concert and show. Different outfits, backdrops, lighting effects to tell the story of each song and each song being almost a scene or chapter in an ongoing story. I think that would be pretty cool to do sometime.. Plus they could even do animation segments like the Gorillaz between sets, costume changes etc.

As an ESL teacher, I recommend you dull your accent and word choice a little when interviewing people who speak English as a second or foreign language. I know you had a translator, but the girls were definitely attentive and listening to your questions first. Great interview and good questions.

Hi! Thanks for recommendation, however I have a natural accent that comes from my regional location and Spanish as well and this was me trying fight both those elements. If you have any recommendations on ways to learn it further that would be great

It looked like the “y’alls” threw them off. I wouldn’t fret about anything though. Your questions were great and it was a fun interview!
@mozartfx12 жыл бұрын
@@ButWhyThoPC Saying “y’all” is just unprofessional. You understand that perfectly well. You literally used the word in every question and it sounded ridiculous. It’s becoming a rare thing to see a journalist act in a professional manner nowadays and it’s easy to see who has respect for their profession and also shows respect to the people they are interviewing.
@ButWhyThoPC2 жыл бұрын
@@mozartfx1 This is the funniest response. There isn't anything unprofessional about y'all, and since we hung out with the women after this point, we can also promise no one thought there was a lack of respect anywhere. Thank you for the free interaction for the algorithm though :)
