Poetry is by definition beautiful. It demands to be, but rare are those who see beauty slithering in between words. This is why we need people to speak it. We need a voice to deliver what words somehow always fail to do on their own. We need a voice to foreground each word differently, intensely, softly, beautifully, aggressively. George delivered; Possessed by the voice of a poet and blessed by the swift movement of an actor, he almost robs the poem of its literariness but at the same time ironically endows it with it. How stunning! Much love.
