Yes, this works great with Space Rocks. I didn't demo this in the video, but I do play it with this controller.

Did you know that a controller like this came out for the Atari 2600 back in 1982? I think it was specifically for Space Invaders games, like maybe only had two buttons for L/R movement

No, I was not aware of that! I have seen some controllers that came out later, but not during the life of the console. Thanks for sharing!

I checked my notes on the button controllers; I've found some like the Questar Button Console, the Starplex Deluxe, the Fingertip Controller, and the BC Blaster, if you want to search for some pics. I do game history too, though currently on a pause; I did a big doc documenting all the strange 80s hardware clones of Atari if you're interested, the History of Atari Clones

I have seen his website before and I quite fancy one or more of his controllers, sadly as I am in the UK even if he does ship here I assume it would be very expensive.

Shipping may be high, but Brian does use a discount shipping service(I believe) and he would be happy to let you know what the shipping costs would be.

Yeah unfortunately it does cost more to ship outside the United States. It's been awhile, but past items shipped (depends on weight) to the UK have averaged around $35 to ship. Depending on what you are interested in, it sometimes help if we can fit multiple items into the same shipping order.
