Lovely loudspeakers, very clear clean sounding speakers that seperate all instruments, I think they call it time aligned or No blurring of sound especially in vocals. And dam good clean bass with no phase problems which we call in layman language over hang of bass notes

I really like ATC speakers but I doubt we're hearing these speakers, this isn't a constant directivity speaker. Notice how the tone never changes as the camera pans.

I'm thinking that the way to rig a proper speaker system is to have the tweeters, midrange and bass all in their own separate cabinets so the frequencies are'nt mixing in with each other. The cabinets are located apart from each other -of course.

ATC and PMC... two excellent companies I always confuse, so alike are their products and sound. Drivers, box shape, size and configuration all similar. Especially the use of large dome midrange drivers in their flagship products. Even their pricing. They even sound very much alike too. Is it a Plymouth or a Dodge?... I can't tell those Chrysler products apart.

ATC is the principal manufacturer and makes many (not all) of the drivers it permits PMC to use for their line of speakers - usually transmission line designs.

Yeah in ideal situation, in reality many 2-way speakers sound better than 3-way, for the same reasons most cheap tube amplifiers sound worse than good solid state.

Sorry no. 2-way speaker has the same goal as 3-way. They are same technology just different philosophy approach. For sake of price reduction, optimisation or whatever. Track and bikes have entirely different purposes. For example if someone would first develope and build cabinet withy high quality driver in mind and put a lot research in developing perfectly matched cabinet and perfectly mathched crossover for high quality drivers, you can be sure, that kind of speaker will sound better than many cheaply made 3-way designs with not much research behind. That's all. Nobody is saying that 2-way is better than top notch 3-way build, is just people should not automatically assume, that 3-way is automatically better just because is 3-way. If some of you can't comprehend that, then is time to stop arguing.

The sound is overall not up as expected. The lack of low-mid is noticable. Sound is dull, lacking inside, makes it want to go away after listening 2 minutes. The lacking gap between 15 inch. and 3 inch. is there, not goed!

Le son est trop montant dans l'aigu, manque d'infra grave et de fermeté dans le grave et la réverbération est un peu trop prononcé! Cela est certainement dû à la prise de son qui doit ètre faite avec le micro du camescope et non avec un excellent micro externe (Bp: 20hz à 20khz) avec un préamplificateur micro + réglage de gain et volume ! Le résultat aurait été bien meilleur !

Yves GAUTHIER You're just used to sloppy bass and speakers that cut the highs to help you listen to anything, however bad it's mastered. The usual audiophile coloration. You can add an EQ later, it's better if the speaker doesn't have it already.

I'm a musician and an audio product manufacturer, I think I'm well enough to post this kind of commentary, which seems quite logical to me when you have some competence in sound recording techniques!

@@yvesgauthier1567 Les écoutes sur KZbin c’est-juste n’importe quoi au pire c’est enregistré avec un caméscope et en fonctions de la directivité des micros et la distance de la prise de son on capte la couleur de la pièce Et si on veux un super son il suffit juste de mètre les son des disques directement sur la vidéo ensuite même la pièce est criticaille avec des diffuseurs derrière les enceintes pour décorer ça ne se met surtout pas là un diffuseur !!!
