I always thought all of them are very handsome. I would say San, HJ and WY are also very charming but that doesn't make them any less handsome. That just makes them a bit more popular with fans. San and HJ are my biases but if I chose my bias based solely on looks it would be Mingi. He's 10/10

"Handsome" in korea basically means fitting the korean male beauty standards. Charming, sexy, pretty and etc are words used to describe male who doesn't fit the typical "korean oppa" type but is still attractive. So don't worry about the boys confinence, they know they look good.

Yes, I agree with you because when I went to their concert a lot of people were crazy with them, especially with mingi, every time the camera focuses on him, or every time he speaks, atiny screaming like crazy. I still remember there's a vd, which is where security said that, everybody likes that mingi guy, and yup, I do believe that mingi is one of the most biased and popular member in ateez following san and wooyoung too.

I don't understand how Korean beauty standards could make people so blind to the obvious though...in Korea they like big eyes, but they're still extremely attractive? I honestly don't care if a guy has big eyes, like it's actually sexy for men to have like ~sharp eyes or whatever, it's really masculine, to me bigger eyes are more of a feminine thing so I feel like that standard doesn't apply to men at all (not to say that women with smaller eyes aren't gorgeous too). Plus their bone structure is literally perfect. Every time I look at San I think he should be on display in the Louvre; he literally looks like Michelangelo carved him from marble in the image of a god. I'm not even exaggerating. How could someone look at a person like San and think that they're not attractive just because they don't fit some dumb, arbitrarily invented, rigid standards? It's insane to me. Humans don't need to be stripped down to individual parts and examined for "perfection," sometimes perfection lies in small imperfections too, because something that's truly perfect doesn't seem real. Everywhere has their own beauty standards but how deep does the brainwashing go when you look at someone like San and say he's not attractive - and that goes for San looking at himself in the mirror too. I feel so bad for him, and all Koreans, who are under such impossible pressure to achieve a truly unattainable level of perfection. San, and Mingi, are flawless in all atiny's eyes, including whatever anyone else may see as 'flaws.' Anyway that's my rant and I will die on this hill lol, anyone who says San is ugly can meet me in the parking lot.

Yep, handsome in korea is like saying you fit into the beauty standard. And it's kinda true that Mingi, Wooyoung etc don't fit into the korean beauty standard but that doesn't make them less attractive, just not conventionally. Imo it's even better to have a unique look, and they're all hot asf so yeah, screw the beauty standards

This is so funny. I understand that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder etc and I know that Korea has it’s own beauty standards. But, based purely on the face, I was struck by San, Wooyoung and Seonghwa. I think they’re utterly gorgeous, with S and SH being striking and WY being beautiful. WY was who brought me to ATEEZ in the first place, he looked so good in Kingdom. I agree with some commenters saying that Mingi looks like he could be a model. And all the others are also very good looking, but I’ve heard the members themselves mentioning that Yeosang, Yunho and Seonghwa are the best looking in the group. I guess unless they believe it themselves or hear it from those closest to them, no matter how much fans insist they’re handsome, they won’t believe it. I hope Mingi doesn’t take it too hard, because like HJ said, it seems to have affected him, even though San said they do this all the time. And LOL at Wooyoung screeching about why he’s being dragged into it. 😂

the main problem is they are in an industry where their looks are mentioned in good,bad,neutral ways constantly,have been since they were teens and joined their company(not that society isnt ruthless even before that),if you have to worry so much about what you eat,your weight,your skin how you look like at all times it will obviously creat an environment where you are scrutnizing and evaluating your face/body and of your members-friends too unfortunately,I hope they get to live away from such environment that breeds so much toxicity,even if they still stay famous and friends.
