They only danced since they pre-recorded their performance, so they wanted to go out, even dancing, while the pre-recorded content came out on the stream.

Pre-recording is the norm in the kpop industry for live shows and necessary for performances that involve props, set-up, movement of logistics on stage. As we saw on the live broadcast, there were 3 artists' stages in quick succession: Treasure, Itzy and Ateez. We wouldn't have bn able to watch all the performances with smooth transition without the pre-recorded clips

Its just the dance where he go then they have a break dance then he comeback with the other dancers to continue his part, if u watch the award show performance you will understand it
