So glad you checked this out!! Bit of backstory: this is actually a cover!! The original was by Turbo (the older guy you see later in the video) in 1996. ATEEZ performed this cover version on a show called ‘Immortal Songs 2’ - where artists compete performing covers of famous k-pop songs in front of the famous artist themselves! ATEEZ holds the most wins for an idol group. And Turbo loved ATEEZ’s version and so they made this official video together! (ATEEZ added the rock vibe you feel here, v diff to the original). I def recommend checking out the live version - and perhaps Turbo’s original too! - to really get the whole feel :) [EDIT: i def recommend maybe for ATEEZ week to check out all their 'Immortal songs 2' performances! They are all so iconic and truly incredible - yet SO underrated. Here is all of them so far: 'Black Cat' (this one, the won that week), 'Anyhow Song', 'Right Now' (original by Psy, they won), 'It's Raining' (they won), 'Fantastic Baby & Nillili Mambo' (mashup of 2 iconic songs), and the most recent 'Jilpoonggado' (they won, and it was a special episode to thank the 'heroes in uniform', iconic). I truly recommend ALL of these! They are all such insanely good performances, and so so so underrated from reactors!!]

What's actually even cooler is that the Turbo version is also a cover of an Italian children's song! kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZ-Qg5ycnriDepI I agree definitely check out Turbo's version as well. It's like the dance mix version, and is so fun.

6:58 he isn’t part of the group😭😂 his name is jongkook he is the og singer of the song i think. And yes the one who hit the high note was jongho

When Yeosang (the bass voice) and Jongho (the one with the amazing vocals) harmonize on Dune …god. It gives me chills. Dune is my absolute favorite on the new album! ATEEZ are incredible! I can give you a crash course 😂

Oh. You need to watch they perform this song first time in a show Immortal Songs. They sing live and the energy waaaaay better than this MV. That was the first time Kim Jong Kook 6:56 (the og of the song, 1st gen and lagendary idol) falling in love with them. He then decided to make the season album with ATEEZ (He never did that before with other idol). They covered another JK, TURBO song - White Love in that album and new song together - Be My Lover.

6:58 that Jongkook. He is a first gen idol. And his group Turbo is the original singers/rappers of the song. But yes he was doing Jongho part at the end

​@jonghospurplehighlight1012 that wasn't the question. We all know who was singing the soaring high notes at the end. The question was "who is that person who randomly popped up. Is he part of the group?" And in the timestamp provided, Jongkook is directly in the middle of the frame, and is, in fact, singing the part of the chorus that had been Jongho's the entire rest of the song. You're wrong, the original comment was right. 🤷‍♀️
